Personalized Glasses with Engraving

Sometimes it's pretty hard to get men a truly unique and personal gift. It's rare to find shops that specialize in gifts for men. Some of the simple and very unique gift ideas for men come in the form of customized glasses, mugs or pints. These glasses are convenient for those who have a mini-bar or just like to have something uniquely theirs.
Tailor-made glass drinking ware is beautiful and functional. It serves both as a gift and as something that they can use. These glasses are great for the birthday of your father or as a gift for the best man or special events such as Father's Day or Christmas. You can even give your friends other items made from glass with unique sayings and designs.
Tailor-made glasses can be personalized with a short message and a name and date. Some even adapt to a whole new level by the color of the glass surface and by embedding beautiful gold or silver finish in the lettering. You can choose wine glasses, shot glasses, martini glasses, cups and even mugs made out of crystal or pottery. There is also a barware collection available that comes with beautiful crystal decanters, matching glasses, carafes and ice buckets. All of them can be personalized with the name and the message of your choice.

Shot glasses provide great custom gifts. In most shops, you can create a pack of four, 6 or 8 glasses with each glass having it's own message or you can engrave all the glasses with the same message or design. In planning the presentation of customized gifts glasses for your family or friends, contact the engraving artist and tell them your preferences. They will come up with beautiful designs that look great on the glasses. The engraving artist will be able to tell you what looks good and what does not.
It is best to include a word or a quotation that they would normally use. Some people add words or slogans that are special to you and the recipient. There once was a couple who made the glasses personalized and engraved with the cute names they call each other. There are many designs and messages that are great to be accompanied with funny quotes and taglines. These glasses provide perfect favors, as they can be used over and over again for drinking sessions with their friends.

Fragrance Engraving
On-Site Engraving Events are retail promotional events that are very successful in building a repeat customer base and record-breaking sales! The engraving is done, at the store, set up near the items to be engraved. A beautiful, flowing, easy-to-read script is engraved, while the customer watches. A personalized name, a brief message or a single monogram letter can be hand-engraved into crystal, glass or metal surface of nearly any product, The engraving creates an excitement as customers watch their gifts items embellished with an exquisite personalization.
A pre-sale period, allows for engraving to be offered 4-6 weeks prior to the event to maximize sales. An On-Site Engraving Event a is retail promotional event that is is successful prior to the event day, due to the pre-sales.
The hand-engraving tool is a small handpiece, which is an ultra-high-speed air driven drill. The unique sound draws attention as people stop to see the activity, often making an impulse purchase due to the engraving and exquisite personalization. A bright gold or silver color inlay can be filled in the engraved lettering on colored glass, further enhancing the engraving.

Gun Engraving by Celebration Glass

Some of the most interesting projects I have done for folks is engraving on gun receivers. When I was first asked if I could do these, I said "sure, why not"? I didn't know how beautifully the metal portion of the gun would engrave.
For guns that have been coated with bluing, I carve deeply into the finish and the engraved words are a brilliant silver! They are beautiful.
I have done guns that are special gifts for special people, and also ones that are given as commemorative items at banquets, events, and celebrations. Here are a few samples. Give me a call to have your collection personalized!

Welcome to Celebration Glass!
Well, here we are. I have been hosting a webpage for several years with just a few photos of examples of my work, and decided that this blog page will do the same job just as well!
If you have found this, you probably got my webpage info at a show or department store. I started engraving in April 2004. It was an interesting story - how I got started. I began doing calligraphy in the late 70's - it seemed a natural extension of all the lettering I had done up to that time. In High School, I was the one that made all the program covers, lettered all the pep club signs, and doodled incessantly exploring alphabets, design, and patterns. I started doing calligraphy on everything - huge poster-board cards, banners, and even adding machine tapes. Soon I was lettering everything in sight - and doing custom work for many customers.
I explored a variety of alphabets - italic, uncial, old english, copperplate, more. I made many interesting projects for people - then computers came on the scene and people started producing their own items using the many fonts that were available - people weren't willing to pay for calligraphy any more.
I was teaching a calligraphy class and searching for information on teaching "lefties" and came upon a site by Ken Brown. I had some of his books from the 70's when I was just starting out and decided to call the 800 number provided to inquire about this engraving technique. I had recently been in Chicago and saw some engraved wine bottles and thought there might be an opportunity here.
Ken answered the phone and convinced me to take his 3-day seminar in Plano Texas. Price included equipment, training, and tons of tips on how to get into business. 9 months later, I was in business - doing events at department stores and free-lance work for people in the community.
I can engrave on anything glass, metal or crystal. I do the beautiful copperplate calligraphy and fill it with a silver or gold finish and create beautiful gifts out of everyday items. Some of the most popular items I engrave are wine bottles, fragrance, guns, knives, plaques, mugs, vases, champagne flutes, and much more.
Give me a call if you'd like something done. I live in Hutchinson, Minnesota and serve the entire Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area. I don't sell "stuff", but engrave on items you bring me.
Hopefully, the photos will give you some idea of the beautiful work I do - give me a call and I can give you some pricing for your items.
